The futuristic world of Davenport is all serial killer Michael Acosta (Agustin Antar-Martinez Nicholas) and revenge-seeker Elle Lee (Avery Chesternut) have ever known.

Allow me to explain: 

1. In , Davenport, crying (for emotional reasons) is definitely not allowed, and if you see someone crying, it is encouraged that you kill them.
2. Michael, while only 13, broke his arm. There goes his mother's life.
3. a Michael, while only 24, has sent 98 people to the grave, after making them fall in love with him.
4. Michael is a special-effects makeup artists.
5. Elle's brother was just murdered by his "girlfriend."
6. Elle wants revenge.
7. It is the only reason that she lives

In 2018, Julianna Lavigne (Georgia May) has just been diagnosed with schizophrenia and has been sent to Jamison Mental Institution. The same one that was shut down in 1950 due to their methods of treatment and then re-opened in 2001.

Is it just her schizophrenia, or are the voices she hears, telling her to escape, real?

She is useless, unimportant, until one day, while wandering through the forest, she finds a tree inscribed with the name of an ancient forest goddess, "Ariella."
